On December 9, 2025, Doshine (Shanghai) Measurement and Control Technology Co., Ltd. announced a major success: leveraging its technical expertise and project experience in the field of bulk material inspection, the company has successfully won the bid for the "Intelligent Upgrading and Renovation Project for the Sample Preparation and Testing System at Zhoushan Shulanghu Terminal." This project will establish an efficient and intelligent sample preparation and testing system for this key domestic ore transfer port.

     This bid win was made possible by Doshine Measurement and Control's deep technical accumulation and innovative capabilities. The company has long been focused on providing intelligent solutions for ports and steel enterprises, and holds a number of core technologies and patented achievements in the field of sample preparation and testing. Its equipment is well‑known for high stability and high precision, earning the trust of its customers.

    Zhoushan Shulanghu Terminal is one of China's major bulk ore transfer hubs. In order to meet the requirements of Smart Customs construction, the project will add a robotic sample preparation and testing system near the transfer station of the existing ship‑unloading system, and carry out intelligent upgrading and renovation of the existing sampling and preparation system.

   This project adopts a configuration of two robotic arms with a movable guide rail, capable of handling sample preparation and testing tasks from the existing three sampling systems simultaneously. The system will automate moisture determination, particle size analysis, batch buffering, chemical sample preparation, and residual material return for various ore types—including lump ore, fine ore, pellets, and viscous ores. In view of the high proportion of viscous ores in this project, a dedicated channel will be established to resolve viscosity‑related feeding issues. The system will realize a fully automated, unattended, environmentally efficient, and traceable intelligent sampling, preparation, and testing system that meets the Smart Customs construction requirements of the Shulanghu ore terminal.

   Doshine Measurement and Control will form a dedicated project team and integrate the system with the port's actual working scenarios to ensure seamless compatibility with existing equipment and automated material feeding and disposal across all ore types.
