The coal used in steel plants mainly includes coking coal, PCI coal, thermal coal, etc. Depending on the production process, corresponding inspection and testing data must be provided. Our company's coal sampling and sample preparation system, by integrating a robotic manipulator with the equipment, can automatically perform particle size analysis and moisture determination for different types of coal, and prepare compositional samples. It also enables the automatic preparation of samples for caking index (G-value), plastic layer index (Y-value), petrographic analysis, and grindability index. The entire system operates automatically and unattended, representing advanced technology.
