This coke sampling and sample preparation system, by integrating a robotic manipulator with the equipment, can perform online microstructural analysis of coke, drum index determination (DI/Micum), automatic moisture determination, preparation of samples for hot strength and reactivity tests, preparation of samples for porosity measurement, and preparation of proximate analysis samples (ground to 80 mesh). The system integrates sampling, sample preparation, analysis, and reject disposal into one unit, achieving a fully automated, environmentally friendly, and unattended process throughout.
