On April 9, Doshine (Shanghai) Measurement and Control Technology Co., Ltd. reached a key project delivery milestone—the complete set of sampling and sample preparation system equipment for the iron ore concentrate conveying system project at the new port of Shougang Hierro Peru had completed production, commissioning, and quality inspection, and was dispatched to Tianjin Port. The consolidation operations at the port were completed on April 10, and the equipment is now awaiting shipment to the project site.
The iron ore concentrate conveying system project at the new port of Shougang Hierro Peru is located in San Nicolas Bay, Marcona, Nazca Province, Ica Region, approximately 496 km southeast of Lima on the southern coast of Peru. As a key supporting project for overseas mining operations, it imposes stringent requirements on the precision, stability, and adaptability of the iron ore concentrate sampling and sample preparation system. During project execution, the Doshine Measurement and Control team strictly adhered to international standards and customer requirements, conducting multiple rounds of verification from equipment production to pre‑delivery commissioning to ensure that the system performance fully matches the actual operating conditions at the overseas port.
This project is equipped with one fully automatic iron ore concentrate sampling system and one set of manual sample preparation equipment. Given the operating conditions of the terminal—characterized by large belt widths and high material flow rates—the system adopts a moving‑cut type primary sampler. It simultaneously enables automatic sample delivery, increment weighing, dividing, sample collection, and residual material return, producing both samples for preparation and samples for particle size analysis. The manually collected samples are then sent to the preparation area for particle size determination, moisture analysis, and analytical sample preparation. In addition, the system is capable of handling automatic sampling of sticky ore materials, offering greater adaptability.
Subsequently, Doshine Measurement and Control will arrange a service team to travel to the project site to ensure that the installation and commissioning work after the equipment arrives at the port proceeds smoothly, thereby facilitating the project's early commissioning and operation.
