Recently, Doshine (Shanghai) Measurement and Control Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully won the bid for the "Fully Automatic Sample Preparation System Equipment" procurement project of Guangdong Zhongnan Iron&Steel Co.,Ltd., leveraging its leading technical strength and mature industry solutions.

   This project includes three fully automatic sample preparation systems for coal, iron ore, and flux, along with supporting systems such as an intelligent sample storage system and a dust collection system. It enables automated sample preparation for bulk raw materials and fuels—including iron ore, sinter, flux ore, coal, and coke—as well as for products from the ironmaking area processes. The system consolidates raw material and pre‑ironmaking inspection operations, improves the working environment, enhances labor efficiency, and reduces job‑related sensitivity (i.e., reliance on manual intervention).

   This project win marks yet another comprehensive intelligent bulk raw material inspection solution that Doshine Measurement and Control has provided for Guangdong Zhongnan Iron&Steel Co.,Ltd. (Shaogang), following similar projects for Baoshan Iron & Steel (Baosteel Baoshan), Meishan Steel, Zhanjiang Steel, and Hunan Valin Lianyuan Steel. The system enables automatic moisture and particle size analysis for ores and fluxes, as well as automatic preparation of compositional samples. For coal and coke, it supports automatic moisture and particle size detection, and automatic preparation of samples for proximate analysis, caking index (G‑value), Y‑value, petrography, and grindability (HGI). Some of these parameters fill a gap in the domestic automatic sample preparation system market.

   With the signing of this project, Doshine Measurement and Control will join hands with Guangdong Zhongnan Iron&Steel Co.,Ltd. and more partners to collectively drive the advancement of bulk raw material sampling and sample preparation in the steel industry towards intelligent, smart, green, and high‑quality development.
